UFiP is recreating some of it's original production from when the company launched in 1931. These fit perfectly into the current requirements for retro looking and sounding cymbals. Coupled with their contemporary and unique Rotocast production method, which results in purity of the bronze and added strength and resonance for the bell.
New "Est.1931" cymbals offer a dry, smooth and very traditional sound; Rides are very controllable, with a great stick definition but still crash-able, the Crashes are dark, soft, very low pitched, with a soft response and short sustain. The best of both worlds.
